I got last year a 20 pdr HE shell which is not fuzes, since the Swiss Army used british 20 pdr ammunition just a few years it is very hard to find a No 257 fuze here. Therefore I am looking for a tecnical drawing of this fuze so I can gived to my friend, he will try the make some kind of a reproduction of this fuze.
Any help is appreciated.

Regards

Martin

According a british manuel the 20 pdr HE shells have been also fuzed with the No 257. Also if you look in old swiss manuals for ammunition supplies the shape of the fuze must be a 257.

Spotter's sticky re British numbered fuzes details the No 257 as used in 6 Pr and 20 Pr Tank. Sorry but I have no diagrams. XT
