This is not in my possession but I've been told that it rattles when shaken. Is there some way to determine if it has been deactivated or if it's still live?

PLEASE, If you have the slightest doubt that ammunition is active or not, follow the procedure for your country. In general, call the police.

Ammunitions made to kill, in the best case, it shall injure you !

Like I said, it's not in my possession and was thinking of purchasing it but want to make sure everything is good/safe. I think that in the first photo that the writing might say "425 DRILL" and there is the remnants of a white band on the top.... but I might just be seeing what I hope to see....
