No1 mk1 grenade

Hello a quick question regarding the No1 mk1 family of grenades..
Is the striker/needle top peened over ?
Have attached a drawing to show ..

Hi Spotter,
This is the one I have. Maybe the top of the striker was damaged when I cleaned it with a violent automatic wire brush (!). This part is made of steel so very rusty.

I'm very proud of this grenade (the wood handle is missing) because I found it in the Somme in British tunnels near the mine crater of La Boisselle (Lochnagar crater).

This is a bit of a noisy image, but describes the "needle riveted over" and secured on the inside of the cap by "lead washer to be soldered in".

Im close to finishing the no1 im restoring but more questions .
I know the length of the streamers but can anyone tell me how wide they are please.
