Part of the aircraft luftwaffe?

Hi mk701,I have found similar on Allied aircraft that we have recovered,from memeory (it was a long time ago)I think it may be a Voltage inverter,
Regards,
Don,

really nice description of the place of manufacture: "Waffenstadt Suhl" = "Weapon City Suhl" :) Today it seems to be forbidden beeing proud manufacturing weapons.

Drehstrom = 3 Phase AC

Hi Alpini,being proud of manufacturing weapons is not a problem,you dont have to be proud of how they were used,they are after all just tools,
Don,

you are right don, it is just funny to read this label as today nobody in germany would even think about writing something like this :)

After 1945 in the G.D.R. they produced small motorbikes "Schwalbe" (swallow) in Suhl. These bikes had a factory label "Jagdwaffenwerk Suhl" which translates "Hunting arms factory" so many people called their bikes "Jagdschwalbe" :)

No, lucky not. But the shape is the same, i changed these things a lot, and when i saw your pic, i just knew it was an inverter.

now they are static,
