Plug fuze.

Hi all,

Acquired a plug fuze a few days ago; only markings on it are "PLUG SX134A" and "BN 11/71". The diameter over the threads is 40.5mm (about 1.594").
Can anyone tell me for what projectile it is for, please?

Thanks in advance.

Roger.

76mm ARMDC plug for HE shell

With that diameter I am thinking it would be for a 76mm ARMDC HE round !
Unusual to find those.
Am about 99% sure.

PRF representing Fuze L17 and was used on the Drill round per Chris's post.

SX134A is the design drawing number. BN is probably ROF Bishopton.

More thanks.

Thanks Ammotechxt.
A very kind gentleman on this site sent me a copy of the official drawing that had (as you say) that Drawing Number. The info as to the meaning of the BN is interesting, it was not something that I had come across before.
Roger.
