Requesting details for Russian fuze 3GT, for 76.2mm WW1, mine shells.

Does anyone have one in good condition that strips down easy, who can show me how the needle is suspended inside of the inner tube, I presume a T system at its top and pinned through the collar that the tube slides forward through on impact, but detail is what I am after, please. The cutaway drawings I have show all internals but still leave me guessing. Thanks in advance for any help.
 

Hello, at last a reply to my question, thank you for that. I don't seem to be able to view the attachment, but if it is diagrams of the fuze, then I already have three or four. From those, it appears that the top coil spring is in your cutaway fuze, upside down, small diameter end of spring should be at the bottom. The top nose plug is partway unscrewed, so I am hoping that you can take out the inner tube, if that is possible then can I ask you to remove the tube with its collar and take a few good close-up pictures of the junction at the top of the central needle. From what I can see, the top of the needle has a T, the top of that T appears to be dovetail in shape and passes through the collar that surrounds the sliding inner tube. I have a fuze body and a few internals and if I can get enough detail of how that needle is suspended, I would attempt to try and reproduce those parts to make it a more complete unit. That's not a problem, that picture you have posted in response to my question, is certainly another step closer, many thanks for that.
 
I dont have exact dimensions , but i have fuze leftovers with needle , i can measure the needle diameter for you
Is it possible for you to take a few close pictures of the needle remains that you have. The detail I am after is how the needle is held at its top, inside that moveable tube. Looking at the photo of the cutaway fuze you included, I'm thinking that the dovetail shaped pin is passed through the outer collar which we can see, and through the chase cut in either side of the tube. The needle could have a fine threaded top that then is screwed into a hole to match in the bottom center of that dovetailed cross pin. It appears from the sectioned drawings that the needle is longer than the side cuts in the tube, it would have to be, to stop the needle being thrown out of alignment on graze, or in other words its point ending up outside of the tube. I have to cut the fuze...
 
Okay, when you said you had fuze leftovers, I thought you might have the remains of a needle from a blown fuze. If you do, is it possible to see the top of the needle.
Ive got the leftovers with parts of needle , but the downside of it. The part that youre looking for have to be pulled out to be seen.
The needle is deformed so its not possible..

Okay then, looks as though we have gone as far as we can go with this at this stage. Do you know of any other collectors that may have one of these fuzes that strips down or even the remains of another blown fuze that may show the top of the needle. You asked if I would like you to measure the diameter of the needle. Yes, I think that would be helpful also. Many thanks for that.

So the needle isnt perfect , body of the needle 1.85mm , but pre point part is 2.15mm

And unfortunatly there are no one left who could help me with this fuze , ive asked everyone i know.

Thanks for those measurements. I find it hard to believe that I have the only complete fuze body in this design, you would think that worldwide, there are so many collectors that are connected to this website that have read this, but no one can answer that question. The original photo that you sent, is it a museum piece, and if so, do you know which museum.

Nah , many are busy or either uninterested.
Ive had topics on chemical shells , but eventhought there are great experts with one finger missed , but theyre silent.

If i get a gt 3 , from the fields , il make a cutthrough
