after a bit of a lay off what with so many projects still on going, with plans for my new display room on the go,i have found time to finish my instructional SD2 B with a 67 timed delay fuse.

Hope you all enjoy

Well they do say the best things are worth waiting for............certainly true in this case!!!
Excellent job there Phil, thats a really great cut.
What material did you use for the dummy filling?

kind regards Kev

Thanks Kev
I have had this a while and just managed to get myself motivated to finish it.
What i used was ptfe in 50mm bar for the dummy filling.
You can machine it like steel in a lathe and do step cutting for the fuse.

Great Job Phil. It exactly does what a cutaway model should do; show the inner workings of a fuze. You also did a very straight cutting job on the bomb body.
On one hand; thanks for showing, on the other hand ....I want one for myself now.....

Cheers Matey
I am getting re kindled now and have a few projys in the pipeline,i think a lay up is as good as a rest

Best phil

Cheers for that

Cutting the body wasnt that bad but the fuse however was something else.

whilst doing the 67 i also did another and that seemed to be the easier way, mind you though it was a bit taxing on the eyes.
