after a bit of a lay off what with so many projects still on going, with plans for my new display room on the go,i have found time to finish my instructional SD2 B with a 67 timed delay fuse.
Well they do say the best things are worth waiting for............certainly true in this case!!!
Excellent job there Phil, thats a really great cut.
What material did you use for the dummy filling?
Thanks Kev
I have had this a while and just managed to get myself motivated to finish it.
What i used was ptfe in 50mm bar for the dummy filling.
You can machine it like steel in a lathe and do step cutting for the fuse.
Thanks Kev

Sweet Phil!! Much better viewing now the text isnt interfering with the pictures!
Good to see one of your projects, its been too long. That 67 sectioned is a peach!
Great Job Phil. It exactly does what a cutaway model should do; show the inner workings of a fuze. You also did a very straight cutting job on the bomb body.
On one hand; thanks for showing, on the other hand ....I want one for myself now.....
