I’ve bumped this up from the identification thread as it may be of interest more widely. This is a WWI McAlpine pistol, long delay, MkI, the forerunner of the acetone series of delay fuzes. I, of course, didn’t have a clue what it was but thanks to Minenaz and previous posts from Bonnex I am now much the wiser and now you can be too!
