I sent one of mine using a very local courier 18 a few months ago.
Get yellow pages & find a local non-advertised on TV/media one as they are usually run by a couple of people with a few vans so much lower overheads & cheaper!!
They usually only want to know the weight & destination - not what the item is, which with some of the bigger couriers can be a problem/more expensive!!
