It reminds me of the time I took my Bren (in the days when you could have one on a shot gun ticket) to work for a bit of refurbishment( hard chrome and regrind the cocking mechanism). When the foreman saw it he said " what the f**k is that doing here ! I understood it to mean "please take it home". i wonder what the reaction would be today?........

The time I was unloading 303 shells at work to relieve the boredom when my buddy threw a match into the cordite - The flame went up 6 + feet---

The boss wondered what the bright flash was ? Nobody knew ~
