Strange British (?) fuze for I.d please

Please see the attached photos of a strange fuze which I suspect is British but other than that and a D number (drawing number?) there isn’t much to go on. Anyone got any ideas?

Model : Espoleta de Impacto , Garrido Modelo 24.
