Swords (completely off topic)

Hi all, Completely off topic here. I was wondering if anyone out there collects swords? I have one here that I just cannot identify. It has a grip similar to the P08 cavalry sword but has a curved blade. The number on the blade is AE 2225. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance, Wooly

The AE 2225 number sounds like a British part number. Without any parts list though thats the best guess you'll get. It dosn't look very flash, blueing, markings, perforated hand guard etc so I'd guess an other ranks sword or god forbid, a sporting weapon.
