The same but not quite. the 2/42 fuze has four notches in the top cap and four gas escape hole in two positions on the central shaft.
The 3/42 fuze has two notches in the top cap and ony two vents in one position on the central shaft.
I have no idea if this is of any importance or use to anyone - just putting it out there as perhaps one is scarcer than the other ?
