Unidentified fuze,maybe French?

I've had this fuze for a while but never found out anything about it.

The only clue I have is that I saw one on a French WW1 projectile at Beltring!

Is it French,is it WW1 and what is the correct designation please?
Also if anyone has a diagram/drawing they could share I'd be grateful.

Some drawings of the fuse and some have the safety cap on.
