picked this fuze up the other day but cant seem to find any info on it. XM 555 base section with arrow painted moves acts like a locking ring 5in diameter 9in tall. Any ideas what it went to? THANKS IN ADVANCE for any help!

looks like the training fuze for the M 454 155mm nuc projectile - not for the real projo but a 3A training round

Didn't remember the actual fuze designation. But the real fuze was a VT that could be set for various heights of burst. Nice find.

The actual fuze was classified during the day. I don't know that any unclass documentation was ever released and I don't know if I have anything on the training piece or not. If so it would be in a general Field Manual that would not give any technical details, just general procedures.
