Unknown US PD Artillery Fuze, not M46

This is similar to the US M46 Point-detonating artillery shell fuze. I can find no markings on it. I'm in the US and am pretty sure it is US, but dont know for sure. Can anybody ID it for me? Where and who made it? The widest point is about 30mm and it is about 152mm high. I'm sure part of the safteies have been altered.
Thanks in advance,
BKW

What you have is the WWI artillery fuze Mk III used on multiple projectiles. There are U.S. manufactured ones and I believe there are some French manufactured versions of these fuzes from the WWI time frame. You have the newer version with the safety feature.

I have added a drawing that was posted by EODGUY, one of our members.
