Us m43 fuze

Hi all, :hello:
Was just wondering :hmmmm2:if anyone could give me a few pointers on dismantling a US M43 fuze. I have attached a diagram as an instructional aid in any description on the dismantling process. Also are the threads left or right? The main concern is the upper cap (A), as that is the main concern for shipping purposes.

Thanks all,
Cheers,

U.S. M43 M/T fuze...

Hello Bougainville,

Here are the disassembly directions for the the U.S. M43 M/T fuze. The upper cap is RIGHT HAND threaded and is usually firmly staked in place. Removing the lower closure cap which is LEFT HAND threaded will allow you access to the removable percussion primer & black powder pellet if it's still present. This will also provide access to the three retaining screws that hold the clockwork mechanism in place.

Best regards,

Randall
