I used this setter and the M28 setter on M501, M513 and M520. I think basically used on mechanical time fuses in general.

Thanks very much for your info. Can you help further - the handle is hollow and has a large screw at one end, which has a spring fitted to hold something firmly; what was held in the handle? Depotman

Hello ..that was for a battery for illumination purposes although I personally never saw it being used as such. Luckily most of our shoots were during daylight hours.
