what shell is this fuze for

I have this fuze with adaptor, i never made a note of what shell/s it is for at the time and my memory is not as it was, can someone tell me

The long-tapered brass outer appears to be from an early Shrapnel shell, normally fixed into the nose of the projectile with the top collar on the nose of the shell, either studded RML or lead coated, BL. But in saying that the small percussion fuze in it was not normally used with shrapnel shells, either put in latter just because it fitted or old shrapnel shells being used up for practice of direct fire using a percussion fuze for a visible burst.
