WW! German fuze ID

Can anyone provide information on this fuze? The only markings are '840 K' stamped in two places. It is similar in profile to the Dopp Z 98 model, but it is not the same fuze. Thanks in anticipation!

Does it have the same size a s a DOpp.Z.98 or ist it smaller? I guess it has the smaller thread like a Dopp.Z.92? It's an experimental fuze for sure

Yes, same thread as the Dopp Z 92. It looks like the Dopp Z 98’s little brother!

Ok, yes definitely an experimental one. I have the same but it has larger numbers (three digits) on the scale. It also has no designation stamped - just a number.
