Hi all,

I got this today but do not know anything about it apart from that it has the British war office arrow on it and it seems to be dated 1944. Markings are No 400 III N G&C 6/ 44. I dont know much about fuzes so I was just looking for a bit of info, thanks.

All i have on this fuze is that it was the same as the 198 fuze but with a different filling , used on the Naval star shells.

'G & C' I strongly suspect to be 'Gaskell and Chambers' of Birmingham. A company known to Waff' no doubt.
