ZMWM and ZsumWM

I recently stripped down these fuzes - a 1915 dated ZMWM and a 1916 dated sectioned ZsumWM for a clean and have a couple of queries. Does anyone know when the design was changed from the 4 armed detonator holder for the coil spring type (pic 5). Pic 6 shows the grooves inside the fuze that the arms slotted into. I have a 1916 dated ZMWM which has the coil spring system as do my other ZsumWM's. I also found the thin cellulose (?) disc inside the gaine, anyone know the purpose of this?
