Zwst f RYG

Hello,
I have found an interesting item in a collection.
It is an insert for French RYG fuze. The markings I was able to read are Zwst f RYG - Zwischenstück für RYG Zünder.
The French type fuze fits perfectly. The larger thread is nearly gone, but I think it is the standard 50x3 thread.
Can anyone share documentation on this item, please?

Thanks, Bob.

It's the first time I see this adapter.
I assume thread for Az23.
Very interesting. The fuze is a 24-31 RY 17 (German Az 299) not RYG (German Az251). Same use and same thread.

The fuze probably did not come with the adapter. Was in the same box, so I used it to se the fit.
There are docs about the use of the klAZ23 with an adapter for F.H. Gr. as AZ 23 substitute.
