BOCN Guess what it is

A pyrotechnic electric battery or hydraulic pressure generator gas over hydraulic? A gas enema device for Whales? Part of a line throwing gun? Part of a catapult for launching small aircraft?

No to all,I suppose it could be used as a gas enema for whales:bigsmile:.

Right a huge clue here with a photo of the whole thing as I'm feeling a bit mean now as these rarely,if ever, come onto the collectors market....it is ordnance and is British
Sorry about the pic being on it's side but rotating photos is a bit 'hit and miss' with the new photo programme I'm using:sad:

They rarely come on the market cuz no one knows what the hell they are, and therefore there is no interest in them.

How about a 120mm mortar subcaliber adaptor gas launcher? Or a large caliber automatic gun charging/cocking cartridge? Or a cartridge for checking the recoil workings of a gun without firing a projectile? A muzzle flash simulator cartridge?

Don't you have Windows as an operating system? All you have to do is bring the photo up and rotate it, at least in Windows 7.

That was probably to make it harder for you to ID Hazord :tinysmile_eyebrow_t

How about some sort of test round for a artillery/tank gun?

Dave.

No not on Windows,Linux, have a new photo programme I'm trying and can rotate pics in albums but for some reason they go back to original position when uploading
