Yes...yes and yes....and it was the smoke generator that simiulates the flight of the operational missile (UK version of the starstreak)

which brings me to a question,does anyone know why UK missiles,rocket motors ect have the KA designation instead of the normal LA?

Presumably an Austrian/Italian WWI explosive device, gren or mine - 714.gif puh, not my specialty.

Obviously everyone of those gentlemen envolved here frequently have a most tricky picture already in spare!?

I thought someone would have got this by now . Here's a clue . Very common piece of British WW1 kit also widely used by the Americans & the Italians.
