Test Set, post WWII, perhaps VN era and later (plastic looks same as M40/M57 sets for Claymore). Has protection for the window, so field use (rather than workshop)....

Detonator control box,for testing continuity and detonating electrically controlled explosives,,,,,or it could be a switchy boxy testy thing,Oh damn!smle2009 beat me to it,

And beihan62 is the winner. It is a Vietnam era (dated 1971) Australian Claymore controller designed to fire up to 6 claymores or flares as is stated in the manual. Of course it could be used to fire anything with an electric detonator installed.

The three switches down the center each control 2 circuits. The switches are spring loaded to stay in the center. If pushed to the left it selects the circuit directly to the left of it which is then fired by pushing the firing button, or tests the circuit if it is in test mode. There are patches of reflective tape on both sides of the switches so they can be found easily in the dark.

It is designed to take input power from a 90 volt source. I had heard of such things being used in Vietnam, for instance to encircle a grounded helicopter to protect it etc.

beihan62 over to you.
