Seems a bit over-engineered. I was trying to figure out why all of the extra steel in the area of the fuze (?) well at the base.

What is the nomenclature of this AP round (pictures 3 to 9) ?
Looks like a russian 45mm BR-240 with cartridge UBR-243 but the base is different, no crimp groove ?
(black markings on the head "MД" for the fuze MD-..)

I found a picture on the internet of a russian pre-frag HE shell with the same base (maybe for a AA gun)

I don't have any better shots of the case markings. On the 76mm base there is only one mark visible, as below.
